Sharing travel with other passengers for short distances has become an accepted option now. DOT Yathra is specifically designed to serve as an E-Rickshaw and allow people to commute short distances comfortably. The vehicle can be driven upto 120 kms with 7 units of electricity and initial tests have proven that approximately Rs. 700 can be earned every day. DOT Yathra comes with advanced features and amenities like a USB speaker and Radio Facility, Automatic viper, Xenon headlight, Remote control key, Anti theft warning, Digital meter and Passenger Seat LED light. The Government of Delhi has approved this e-rickshaw to drive with 1+4 passengers with 50Kg of luggage, without requiring RTO registration / approval.
